Welcome!

The Collective exists as a place for diverse spiritualities to come together and share philosophies, teaching, personal experiences, and knowledge. We value diversity and inclusion and center our practice on a healthy and supportive community, working together with the land and the Indigenous peoples wherever we live.

Satire in the Goidelic Traditions

So the last post was a little political, and it talked a lot about the absolute bullshit that is going on in politics right now. Fortunately, in the Goidelic traditions, we have quite a bit of precedent for dealing with these things. And on this particular day, we’re going to look at the Satire.  First…

The Personal Is Political

I’d planned to write something for today about the satire. That’s going to have to wait, really – so two weeks from now, if you want a post about the satire in Goidelic tradition, stop back by. In the meantime though, I’ve something else churning in my gut that needs to be said, especially with…

Meeting the Shadow

Shadow Work in the Goidelic Traditions In today’s culture, the term “shadow work” has a different definition moment to moment. As a promised companion piece to the poetry for An Mórrígan, I am going to go through some personal experiences and thoughts about one of the epithets I used in the poetry itself. I will of course begin with these caveats – First and foremost, this is my own gnosis. These are my beliefs, based…

A Devotional Poem for The Mórrígan

This poem is written in devotion to The Mórrígan, based in a combination of my own practice and UPG, as well as references and understanding of the myths and legends we have passed down. In a future post I may go through some of my understandings, particularly of the names and epithets referenced here and…

Culture and Community Values

Consent, hospitality, community, and open access to information is at the heart of everything we do. Those who join us - as guests, students, members, or leaders - are all expected to stick to these values. We do not believe in pay to pray, and any instruction we offer is always free for the student.

Activism

The Wild Hearth exists at the edges of civilization, a place where those on the fringes can find comfort. A place where those without a home or far from home can find safe harbor. We put activism and inclusivity at the forefront of our practice. You don't have to worship the same deities or the same way as we do, but you do have to be inclusive to find a welcome here.

Event Calendar

Anyone is welcome to request a class at any time. Please follow the link below to send us a message asking for anything we teach. We've found the best way to teach and honor our shared history and the echoes of the past is to teach live in circle. Classes are not recorded, and we will host them when we have time. Remember, please, that this is a labor of love and devotion, so schedules may vary. Provide your own availability when requesting a circle.
